HI HI HI! IM SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE
HI, my name is Grace Klein.. a documentary photographer based out of Lubbock Texas. Im a 20 year old, Jesus loving, coffee drinking, vintage cloth owning gal.
Even at a young age, Ive always loved the idea of taking pictures. I would always take my moms camera and go around our farm and take pictures of everything (yes, I grew up on a farm haha, and now Im the biggest city girl you'll ever meet) In high school I took a class for photographer, and it wasn't till then that I realized I loved every second of it. Post high school (aka now) Im more in love with photographer than I thought I ever would be. Every aspect of it, even the difficult moments, have me smiling, always thankful that I get to do this for a living. My creativity hasn't stopped here, I also LOVE interior design. Right after high school, I enrolled in the New York institute of art and design (online of course so I could keep doing photography). Although I do love Interior Design, I plan to finish school and just go full time into photography!
Photography to me is more than just standing behind a camera and clicking a button. It's finding the most important and wonderful parts of someone's life and freezing it into time. This job has allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people, some of which who have even become my best friends. God has blessed me with amazing people around me who have mentored me and encouraged me through every step of the way. When I first started photographer, I always wondered where I would end up. Ive only been in this industry for 2 years and the amount of gratitude I have for everyone who has leaped in and worked with me, is truly unmatched. Not only am I so very thankful that God has given me a passion that I can follow, but he has also given me multitudes of opportunities to meet some of the most amazing people along the way. This job has made me realize that true love is all around, and that capturing it is truly a blessing.
